In the occupied West Bank, the death toll of Palestinians due to the Israeli military incursion into Tulkarem governorate has risen to nine amid an escalation of violence, while a 17-year-old boy lost his life in a separate attack in Tubas.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health and local sources have confirmed these tragic events that occurred since early Tuesday morning.
The situation intensified with the death of 25-year-old Ahmed Mahmoud Khaled Amarneh, who was shot dead by Israeli forces while they besieged his home in the city of Qaffin for three hours. His body was subsequently taken by the troops without life, according to reports from the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
During the early hours, four other Palestinians were killed in a second drone strike in the al-Hammam neighborhood of the Tulkarem refugee camp. These deaths add to those of three women, including 53-year-old Yawla Ali Abdullah and 30-year-old Baraa Jaled Hussein Sheikh Ali, who were killed in the first drone strike.
Additionally, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that two Palestinians were seriously injured in the city of Tamoun during another shelling. One of them was identified as Rayan Hussam Bani Odeh, a 17-year-old high school student who succumbed to his wounds after being attacked by a group of youths during a military raid.
